2025 Year in Review

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Staffing at KT|Black

As we close out another incredible year, we want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all of our clients, partners, employees, and friends. Your trust and collaboration make our work meaningful, and we’re excited to celebrate the moments that defined 2025 for KT Black Staffing.

Our Lubbock team had its biggest season yet, staffing more than 400 gameday workers and supporting premium club operations at several local universities. We were honored to assist ESPN College GameDay with staffing during their live appearances this season, which opened doors to new event partnerships. We also strengthened our relationship with the City of Lubbock, staffing more than 40 positions and earning a contract extension. Our team proudly supported the LP&L Electrician Apprentice Program, helping candidates earn apprentice licenses and secure long-term career paths. The Lubbock staffing team also supported major community events with record attendance—and yes, we earned 4th place at the Lubbock Chamber Golf Classic and returned with a cook team for one of the region’s biggest annual events!

Our skilled trades division expanded meaningfully this year, placing workers across construction, electrical, plumbing, and more. We also saw strong growth from both new clients and long-standing partners, reflecting increased confidence in KT Black’s ability to deliver dependable workforce solutions. Nationwide, our skilled trades operations saw continued demand and new partnerships that position us for a powerful start to 2026.

Workforce development remained a core focus. Through the Workforce Solutions Summer Youth Program, we delivered hands-on job experience to more than 75 young adults.

Under the leadership of Jonathan Silvey and Michelle Davila, KT Black delivered outstanding national results, establishing a strong and rapidly growing footprint in the data center construction staffing market. Their teams supported multiple large-scale projects across the U.S., driving performance and deepening key industry relationships. Jonathan’s success was powered by Staffing Executives Ellie Eggelston and Elise Vansant, and Unit Staffing Executive Jason Roach. Michelle’s team excelled through the efforts of Staffing Executives Will Cordero and Casey Mayo, and Unit Staffing Executive Crystal Dominguez.

Our Client Acquisition Team, led by Karla Lamb, also played a critical role in this year’s growth. With representatives Nick Bean, Jeray Carr, Tim Delon, and Victor Licata working across four key territories, the team strengthened partnerships with skilled-labor companies and expanded our presence within the fast-growing data center market. Their work at national conferences and industry networking events increased KT Black’s visibility, deepened our expertise, and uncovered new opportunities. As we move into 2026, the team is set to grow our presence in high-demand markets and continue positioning KT Black as the preferred staffing partner for large-scale, complex skilled-labor projects.

Through every placement, every partnership, and every new opportunity, one theme has remained constant: the dedication of our teams and the trust of the clients we serve. We’re proud of what we accomplished together this year—and we’re looking forward to an even stronger 2026.

Thank you for being part of the KT Black family.

Warmest Regards,
